Guest Post | Renee Nicole

I'm so excited to have Renee sharing her latest blog post with us today! She's one of my closest blogging friends and I hope you love her as much as I do :) Show her blog & IG some love when you're done reading how she switches up her skin care!

Skincare routine transitioning from winter to spring
have a love affair with skincare. But I also know how important it is for skincare routine transitioning from winter to spring. I love so many different kinds and products but also at certain times of year too. I think that it is important to change up your skincare for the season and when your going into spring from winter its a major change.

In the beginning:
My skincare routine since I can remember has started with the proactiv because I had acne breakouts around that time of the month. I pretty much used it exclusivity till I was introduced to Rodan and Fields. A friend of mine loved it and had a party to introduce the brand to us and I feel in love.
Cleanser:

I tend to use two different cleansers, also a separate scrub. I use the Tula facial cleanser and love the results. When I am having a breakout I use Glamglow Clearing cream to foam cleanser. I am all out of this and waiting for the Sephora sale to stock back up. When I want a really good scrub, I use Derma E microdermabrasion scrub. It smells wonderful and feels so good on my skin.
Toner:
Toner I was using was two different ones actually. One more as a cleanser to clean up any leftover eye makeup and then an actual toner. It is great for getting rid of stubborn eye makeup, Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water. I was using the Rodan and Fields Reverse toner and have switched over to the Tula Toner. I love that it is a gel and doesn’t go everywhere when I use it.
Eye Cream:

One that I have been doing forever was eye cream. I have always used an eye cream since I was in college. I had a friend who told me whatever you do, use eye cream, use it now. And I did. I have used many different kinds and have only used the Rodan and Field one consistently and the BELIF.
Both of those have worked really well for me but I switched over to the Tula Multi Spectrum Eye Renewal Serum. I love this for spring and summer. It has a cooling metal tip to apply the product and it feels so good on your skin.
Serum:

I have used the Rodan and Fields Reverse, yes, I like to stick to the same thing, but I have now changed it up to Tula Volume Defense Serum. Getting older, I am concerned about wrinkles and what they are doing to my forehead and around my mouth so the switch to something more concerning to me was important. I also am wanting to try the Tula Acne Clearing and Tone. Hearing all great things about it and I tend to still break out every once in a while on my jaw line.
Moisturizer:

Winter I tend to go with a lot of oil products and heavier moisturizers then I would in the spring. I switched over from using up the end of the Reverse line of Rodan and Fields. Now over to Tula Hydrating day and night cream. Like it says you can do it day and night so it saves me some major needed counter space and money buying two different products. I also started using the Tula Multi-Spectrum Overnight Skin Rescue Treatment. This has been feeling really good at night and I am excited to see the results.
Sunscreen:

Looking forward to seeing the results from this combo of sunscreen and Vitamin C Serum. I am using the two together to get the best results. Soon will update you in two weeks how it is going.
Primer:
I finish off with a primer to set my makeup. Winter I have been using Too Faced primer to spray my face. I have now switched back over to Pur 4 in 1 Correcting primer. I love how it feels when I put my makeup on and leaves a flawless finish. Another favorite of mine is Charlotte Tilbury Wonder Glow primer. It is a light primer that has a touch of sparkle to give a you a fresh dewy finish.
In conclusion:
This is the newest lineup for skincare for spring. I believe that it is important to change up your skincare routine from winter to spring. I am looking forward to putting in some more beauty content soon. I have a great friend that I am going to ask if she would like to do a guest post about her mask routine. She loves masks and her article about them is great and I would love to share.

assumptions about me from IG

This post has been floating around IG and YT for months now & I couldn't wait to write it. I asked twice (I got a LOT of duplicate questions) on my stories for you guys to give me your assumptions about me, some were funny, some were strange, and some were down right spot on haha!

recent amazon purchases!

Let’s talk about a place we all love to shop…Amazon. Literally most days, I have a prime package waiting for me on the porch. Amazon has made me layzier, but more efficient-you can have things you need auto delivered, like dog food which helps keep my four-legged friends happy! I’ve been putting together a list with shoppable links for you all of my latest Amazon purchases (minus the hats my dad bought because I don’t think you need Cobra golf hats…if you do tho, hit me up, I’m your girl!)

Good Vibes tank-almost like every IGer has this tank in orange, so I went with the blue! It runs TTS, but I wanted it a little more baggy so I sized up.
Faux Love bracelets-I had been waiting one of these FOR-freaking-EVER & I pulled the trigger accidentally (the gold one was in my shopping cart). After I got it, I promptly ordered the silver and rose gold. They never (they are screwed on) leave my wrist!
Black Oversized Sunnies-I think almost every one of my friends HATES these sunnies, but I LOVE THEM the most.
Lilac Top-if you remember on stories, I said I was going to return this, but then somehow I wore it on a Monday…a lot of you said nice things on IG, so it’s a keeper!
Heart Sunnies-these are a YSL knockoff and I love them on Amanda Stanton (which hers are real), but I don’t really love them on me. But I will continue to wear them cause it’s cool…right?
Collagen Creamer-I grabbed the coconut flavor cause Amanda (pardonmuahinsta on IG) uses it and I love it!
Black Jumpsuit-I wanted a jumpsuit that was a teeny bit more casual like the one Emily (champageandchanel on IG) has and stumbled across this one. It’s exactly what I was looking for and I’m going to grab it in other colors cause it’s the perfect throw on and go. You can dress it up if needed or keep it cas.
*nsync tee-it dawned on me that I don’t have any actual *nsync tees-I know you gasped. Hear me out, I have a bunch of special tees (like the one they did for the children’s charity from Planet Hollywood with their handprints.) But I didn’t have an album tees, so I got this one!
Crest Whitestrips-I buy these once a year and use them every so often in between using my SmileBrilliant trays and gel.
Jeans-this is going to sound weird, but I went on a jeans buying spree (& promptly returned almost more than half of them), but I got these from Amazon on a whim and they fit pretty well. I was on the fence, but wore them, so they’re mine now…(do you see a bit of a pattern here?)
What have you picked up lately from Amazon? I’m always in the market for new things, so let’s chat in the comments…

*ps-if you use any of these links, I'll get a small commission. && will love you long time.

Read on to see how I get the perfect shave and to find out the shaving tip I SWEAR by and have for years...
