Prints for Fall! | How to Guide

I know, I know…you’re probably thinking…this isn’t groundbreaking but hear me out! I feel like you can get lost when it comes to prints and patterns for fall because there’s so many different ones and they’re all so good! So I figured I’d break it down for you here making it a little bit easier to navigate the most talked about trend for the new season!
Snakeskin

This is the newcomer this fall and I’m here for it. I love how fun and different it is. To me the animal prints are neutrals and make the perfect statement piece to any old outfit. I love adding in that pop in a shoe or kimono.

Cheetah and Leopard

Now, in case you didn’t know-these are two completely different prints! (whole article to break it down here.) Cheetah is more of a dotted pattern and leopard is more of a spotted, but either way you put it, these are staples any time of year.
Unlike the snakeskin, I will take this print a step further and wear a dress in the print, skirt, sweater, shirt, whatever really cause I can’t get enough!
For leopard or cheetah shoes, there are no rules when it comes to how you pair these; again think of them as a neutral. I love them with greys, greens, navy…the list goes on!

Plaids
I’ll admit, this isn’t a trend that I really wear, as I still think of it more as a school girl thing. But I’m just really starting to see it incorporated more and get behind it. I like the idea of wearing a plaid mini with a textured sweater or leather leggings and a sweater with plaid detailing. Mixing it up to take the trend from the school yard and to the fashion scene.

What print do you love for fall? I have to admit I can't get enough and can't wait to add more to my closet ;) Let's chat prints in the comments,
